EUCOR English  EARS

Students and specialists in all areas of English and American studies at the Universities of Basel, Freiburg, Strasbourg and Haute Alsace are part of EARS within the “Eucor English” network. EARS stands for English and American Rhenish Scholars – a forum for intercultural exchange that brings together specialists in anglophone literature and culture as well as in linguistics at the partner universities. Each year the network organises workshops and trinational meetings and seminars for master’s and doctoral candidates to exchange the results of research and initiate joint projects. Students and professors also organise and attend joint classes on specific topics.

The EARS collaboration started 25 years ago.
